The baseball world has been focused on Fenway Park since Monday, when No. 1 prospect Roman Anthony made his MLB debut, but it was his sister who stole the show.
The latest version of the Roman Empire dawned at Fenway Park in Boston on Monday. Roman Anthony — son of Anthony Anthony and brother of Anthony Anthony Jr. — botched his Red Sox debut by whiffing on a slow roller in the outfield that led to a run.
Despite the talented youngster being the center of attention ahead of first pitch, it was his sister, Lia, who also turned plenty of heads during the game, as she and the rest of Roman's family were in attendance at Fenway Park to cheer for him and the home team.
The Boston Red Sox have no clear plan for Roman Anthony's future in Boston once Wilyer Abreu returns from injury.
After an 0-for-4 night in his MLB debut on Monday, Roman Anthony wasted no time getting his first hit on Tuesday night. In the bottom of the first inning with two on and two out, Anthony ripped a two-run double to left field to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead.

During an interview Thursday on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show,” Lia Anthony gushed over her “unreal experience” at Fenway and said it’s been “crazy” to see her Instagram followers jump from 3,000 to more than 14,000. “Wow, I mean it’s been surreal,” said Lia, a recent graduate of Florida State University.
Roman Anthony hit a two-run double for his first major league hit and added a sliding catch in right field to help the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1.
