The 2025 Oscar nominations were announced on Thursday. "Emilia Pérez" leads the field of nominations this year with 13 in total. Following close behind with 10 each are "The Brutalist" and "Wicked," while "A Complete Unknown" and "Conclave" scored eight each.

Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott had the early-morning duty to announce this year’s Oscar nominations. “Emilia Pérez” had the most nominations with 13 including best picture and best actress, The Associated Press reported. The movie adaptation of the Broadway hit “Wicked” had 10 nominations.

CNN reported “The Brutalist,” “Emilia Pérez” and “Conclave” were expected to be on the list of films vying for an Oscar. The Academy Awards ceremony will be held on March 2 with Conan O’Brien as host. Here are the nominees which will be updated as they are announced:
