Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams has officially been granted his request to be released by the Tennessee Titans. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Adams' agents, Kevin Conner and Robert Brown, confirmed his release.

Three-time Pro Bowl safety Jamal Adams’ tenure with the Tennessee Titans ended Thursday on his 29th birthday with his release after the team placed the eight-year veteran on reserve/non-football injury list last weekend.

Hopkins is set to hit free agency after this season, but he is not in a hurry to get out of Tennessee despite a losing season and an uneven quarterback situation. The former All-Pro said this offseason he wanted to finish his career in Nashville, and, as of now, this situation does not look to have changed.
