“No Kings Day” demonstrations are planned across North Texas this weekend to protest President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies.
Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Arlington and other North Texas cities.
Hundreds gathered in Denton and Fort Worth Saturday morning, joining other cities to push back against a perceived overstep of presidential power.
The “day of defiance” protests began as early as 10 a.m. in North Texas, while the Washington, D.C., military parade for the Army’s 250th birthday starts at 5:30 p.m. Central.
At least 10 protests are planned across North Texas on Saturday. It comes as part of a national movement from people against the Trump administration and its policies.
