The Washington Commanders selected UCLA EDGE Kain Medrano with the No. 205 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Kain Medrano is a high-level athlete who has the potential to become a decent coverage linebacker in the NFL. He has the movement skills to be effective in man coverage and is solid at reading the quarterback's eyes when playing zone, too.

Medrano was selected 205th overall in the sixth round of the NFL draft on Saturday. He joins a long list of Pueblo natives to be in the NFL and is the first to be drafted in decades.
