A vegetation fire burned dozens of acres in Napa County on Friday, just north of Lake Berryessa, Cal Fire said.

Initial location: Berryessa Knoxville Road, North of Lake Berryessa, Napa County, Calif. Berry Fire initially started today at 10:50 a.m. in Napa County, California. Since its discovery less than an hour ago, it has burned 50 acres. Currently, details about the containment of the fire are unknown.

The blaze dubbed the Berry Fire was reported at about 10:50 a.m. in the area of Berryessa Knoxville Road. Cal Fire officials initially said the flames had a "moderate rate of spread" and had covered about 50 acres as of shortly after 11 a.m.
