Leon Draisaitl scored on the power play in overtime, Stuart Skinner made 29 saves and the Edmonton Oilers erased a multigoal deficit to beat the defending champion Florida Panthers 4-3 in Game 1 of their Stanley Cup Final rematch.

Just 66 seconds into Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, Leon Draisaitl scored to give the Edmonton Oilers a 1-0 lead over the Florida Panthers. Over an hour of game time later, Drasaitl scored the overtime winner to seal a 4-3 win and send the Edmonton fans home happy.

McDavid won the Conn Smythe last season, even though the Oilers lost to the Florida Panthers in seven games in the Cup Final. He leads the playoffs with 28 points (six goals, 22 assists) in 17 games this season, but Draisaitl is right behind with 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists) in 17 games.
