According to a White House official, Apple will announce a new $100 billion commitment in the U.S., an acceleration of its U.S. investment that now totals $600 billion over the next four years. The official also confirmed that Apple CEO Tim Cook will be at the announcement on Tuesday, which is expected to be held in the Oval Office at 4:30 p.m. ET.
