SpaceX catches booster during a critical test flight, achieving a significant milestone in rocket reusability and space exploration.

SpaceX has pulled off the boldest test flight yet of its enormous Starship rocket. Elon Musk's company caught the returning booster back at the Texas launch pad with mechanical arms Sunday, shortly after liftoff.

The 233-foot-long booster was caught by giant "chop-stick" arms during landing. This technical breakthrough on a rocket eventually headed to Mars demonstrated that it can be used over and over, like a jetliner.
