Media mogul Shari Redstone said on Wednesday that Paramount made the "right decision" by agreeing to pay $16 million to settle a lawsuit filed by U.S. President Donald Trump against CBS over a "60 Minutes" interview.

Trump has also spoken positively about the hiring of Bari Weiss as editor in chief for CBS News. Weiss took on the role after Paramount acquired her heterodox digital news platform the Free Press. She met Trump when he recently sat for a “60 Minutes” interview.

Retail giant Costco is suing the Trump administration over its sweeping tariffs. In a federal lawsuit, the company argues the president exceeded his authority when he imposed his extensive tariffs on U.
