Certainly, no one with the Indiana Fever is particularly happy with the quad injury that has kept Caitlin Clark off the floor for the past two-plus weeks, causing her to miss five games as the Fever have slipped to 4-5 on the year.

But that “Caitlin Clark Effect” is now on display in another, more unfortunate way. The Fever star went down with an injury at the end of May, and after being diagnosed with a left quadriceps strain, Clark was ruled out for a minimum of two weeks. She’s currently going on week three of being sidelined:
