Nice beach, totally worth a visit. Love the changing color of the sky when sunset. An amazing and gorgeous combination of natural paintings. Clean beach and is not too crowded either.Full review by JanelleCool

There are no chairs or umbrellas to rent on this beach. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas free but they all belong to the hotels and condos and are not for daily rent, so whilst it is a lovely…Full review by whyareyoumakingme

I don't believe so. However, the park that makes up the south end of the beach at Surfside (the North Shore Open Space Park) runs 10 blocks long between 79th and 88th Streets and has plenty of trees. You can find many shady spots right on the beach, maybe even a picnic table. Take a look at my review of Surfside Beach by clicking my icon on the left and then clicking Contributions.
