Exciting educational and friendly, I got to be caged and enjoyed the wildlife in their natural environment. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.Full review by francismc1979

Do not waste your money or time. It was a joke. It is dirty, smelly. The only neat thing was feeding the turtles that took 5 minutes and cost $20.00. We saw kids there also they said it was not fun a…Full review by Sandi W

We had a great time and enjoyed the reverse roles where we are in the cage and the monkeys are on the outside. They would drop a little stainless steel bowl on a chain to you below and you could feed…Full review by Scozsite
I keep reading about feeding monkeys. But can you actually hold them? Pet them? How much interaction is there?

There is one section of the park where (for an additional fee) you can actually go into the monkey area with a guide (they have food), have food in your hand, and the monkeys will climb down your arm, sit on your shoulder and eat the food. You cannot actually pet them (they ARE wild after all), but they will interact with you for some time. The rest of the park has little baskets on chains that drop down from the top of the cage (remember YOU are in a 'cage" while the monkeys roam free) and if you put food in the basket, the monkeys will pull up the chain and get the food out. Other habitats have pipes that you can drop food into and have it reach the monkeys.

Unfortunately no. I know it’s hard, I rarely leave the house without the worlds most spoiled Boxer Molly Rose. From the moment you walk out of the welcome center you are surrounded by a cage (it sounds terrible but it’s not!) and the group of monkeys that live on the property do their thing. Some may climb up to the top and wait for the treats to get put in the cups to pull up. Some may just be sitting with their babies, grooming them. Others flipping over leaves looking for a snack. Again, you are separated by wire but they are directly on the other side, completely by their choice. I’ve had a few check me out, give me the monkey equivalent of the stink eye and saunter back into the undergrowth. I try not to take it personally, yet here I am... They have somehow managed to create an amazing environment for the monkeys in the Redlands. I think it’s all about balance therefore no dogs. However there is a very large parking lot with huge shade trees and even picnic tables. Maybe if you were with a group you could tag team watching you pup? There is also a great dog boarder (even for the day- the dogs have a pool!) less than 5 minutes away. Whatever you do remember- it’s HOT. Bring lots of H2O for you and your fur baby. Hope this helps!
